Veggie & Fruit Smoothie

This Veggie & Fruit Smoothie is filled with nutrient dense foods and offers ingredients that support cardiovascular health and healthy bones and joints.

I use homemade almond milk, filtered water and pea protein based VShake

and a drop each of cinnamon, turmeric, and ginger

Of course, you can use any veggies and fruits that resonate with you. I use all organic produce. My standard vegetables are carrot, celery, and a variety of fresh greens. My fruits of choice are a variety of berries and 1 or 2 Medjool Dates (depending on the sweetness of the fruit).

  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 stalk celery
  • a handful of greens (a combination of kale, chard, spinach is great)
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries
  • 1-2 Medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1 scoop VShake
  • 6-8 cashews
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon hemp seeds
  • 1 drop each of cinnamon, turmeric, and ginger esssential oils

Place all ingredients in high-speed blender container. Cover and blend until throughly mixed. Serve immediately.

Note: This can be frozen for use later.

The essential oils I have chosen support heart, bone and joint health. Other oils can be used depending on your health goals. I’m happy to help you customize this recipe to support your individual needs. Comment and I’ll surely respond.
