Veggie & Fruit Smoothie
This Veggie & Fruit Smoothie is filled with nutrient dense foods and offers ingredients that support cardiovascular health and healthy bones and joints.
I use homemade almond milk, filtered water and pea protein based VShake
Of course, you can use any veggies and fruits that resonate with you. I use all organic produce. My standard vegetables are carrot, celery, and a variety of fresh greens. My fruits of choice are a variety of berries and 1 or 2 Medjool Dates (depending on the sweetness of the fruit).
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1 carrot
- 1 stalk celery
- a handful of greens (a combination of kale, chard, spinach is great)
- 1/2 cup mixed berries
- 1-2 Medjool dates (pitted)
- 1 scoop VShake
- 6-8 cashews
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon hemp seeds
- 1 drop each of cinnamon, turmeric, and ginger esssential oils
Place all ingredients in high-speed blender container. Cover and blend until throughly mixed. Serve immediately.
Note: This can be frozen for use later.
